SINGLE-ORIGIN PORTO RICO YAUCO SELECTO
The island of PuertoRico is a high quality coffee producer. Produced in the central-western part of the island, this coffee is named after the mountains of Yauco. The island of the Greater Antilles is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, characterized by the presence of a mountain range known as the Cordillera Central. The climate is sub-equatorial type with modest annual temperature range and abundant rainfall.
The coffee is the island’s first commodity crop thats been esported, grown at over 3000 feet on the level of the Caribbean Sea. After being harvested every bean is subjected to a rigorous selection and processing, to ensure the highest quality.
Yauco Selecto single-origin, “TOP” coffee in Puerto Rico is characterized by a seductive aroma, full and sweet taste, very light body, a stand out acidity and sweetness, floral and fruity notes, with hints of chocolate, delicate and balanced coffee.
